Alex Jones Podcast cost him millions of dollars in defamation

Alex Jones made a lot of money through his conspiracy podcasts. He is the protagonist of conspiracy theories about 1969 moon landing, September 11 attacks and many more through his websites like infowars.

But he suffered many setbacks and defamation law suits after his Sandy Hooks Elementary School Shooting  podcast which called the whole episode a hoax. Victims of Sandy Hooks elementary shooting 2012 who lost their loved ones filled defamation suits against him and there is a wooping $45 million which he has to pay as per damages. There are two other cases pending where damages are to be decided. 
Now the victims have filed motion in federal bankruptcy court alleging laundering and illegal transfer of funds between entities controlled by Alex Jones to save him from paying.Free Speech Systems (FSS), the parent company of info wars transferred money to PQPR Holdings Limited, which is “owned and operated” by Jones as per the filings. 
Alex Jones openly talks about dragging the lawsuits for several years and his company has applied for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection petition so that he or his company can shield themselves from payments. 
Victims have asked the court to allow a backruptcy trustee to take control of his and his company's finances.

LG and Honda Join venture Li battery USA

South Korean battery maker LG and Japanese automaker Honda are joining hands for a $4.4 billion joint venture in USA to produce Lithium-ion battery Honda electric vehicles as announced by the two companied. image: wikimedia commons Location of the plant is not yet decided.Construction will begin in 2023 and mass production in 2025. “Our joint venture with Honda, which has significant brand reputation, is yet another milestone in our mid- to long-term strategy of promoting electrification in the fast-growing North American market,” as per LG Energy Solution Chief Executive Youngsoo Kwon. “Honda is working toward our target to realize carbon neutrality for all products and corporate activities the company is involved in by 2050,” announced Honda Chief Executive Toshihiro Mibe.
