Milwaukee’s Laborfest celebration Joe Biden visit

Every year on Labour Day Milwaukee Lakefront comes to life as its the venue for Laborfest organised by labor unions and union members of the Milwaukee Area Labor Council, AFL-CIO. This year US President Joe Biden will join the party. Union-made Harley-Davidson motorcycle parade is the top attraction, but other events include children’s entertainment like science and magic shows, classic car show, live music and band performance and many more. Labor Day morning starts with parade where union members on their trucks and Harleys form the major attraction. The parade ends at the Henry Maier Festival grounds at Noon when Laborfest begins. LG and Honda Join venture Li battery USA

South Korean battery maker LG and Japanese automaker Honda are joining hands for a $4.4 billion joint venture in USA to produce Lithium-ion battery Honda electric vehicles as announced by the two companied. image: wikimedia commons Location of the plant is not yet decided.Construction will begin in 2023 and mass production in 2025. “Our joint venture with Honda, which has significant brand reputation, is yet another milestone in our mid- to long-term strategy of promoting electrification in the fast-growing North American market,” as per LG Energy Solution Chief Executive Youngsoo Kwon. “Honda is working toward our target to realize carbon neutrality for all products and corporate activities the company is involved in by 2050,” announced Honda Chief Executive Toshihiro Mibe. Taylor Swift was the winner of the top prize at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday where she also announced her new album. USDA Fish-flavored rabies vaccines distribution Program

Oral vaccination has been used to fight rabies since the early 1990s. Every year The U.S. Department of Agriculture carries out annual oral rabies vaccine distribution to spread of raccoon rabies from the eastern United States into the heartland as per USDA news release. Coated sachet baits, which are coasted with an oily, fish-scented substance to attract raccoons and other hungry critters, containing the RABORAL V-RG® or ONRAB oral rabies vaccine (ORV) is distributed.  These vaccines are dropped from air in vast areas excluding urban centers.In Urban areas special 'bet stations' are set up. Earlier A group of researchers at the National Wildlife Research Center had found that raccoons are more likely to consume baits used to lure them to ingest rabies vaccines if the bait is fish-flavored. Alex Jones made a lot of money through his conspiracy podcasts. He is the protagonist of conspiracy theories about 1969 moon landing, September 11 attacks and many more through his websites like infowars.   Meet Inna Yashchyshyn Inna Yashchyshyn is a Ukrainian Immigrant, who allegedly posed as a member of the Rothschild banking family to mingle with former President Donald Trump’s inner circle at Mar-a-Lago Trump International Golf Club. She bragged herself as heiress Anna de Rothschild but actually is daughter of a truck driver called Oleksandr Yaschysyn, who resides in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.  Yaschyshyn is introduced to the club by a Trump donor named Elchanan Adamker in 2021. She is accused of possessing fake IDs - including a US passport and multiple drivers' licenses - in her fake Rothschild name.   Yaschushyn faces an FBI probe on a charity she was president of called the United Hearts of Mercy. President Biden Announces Student Loan Relief for Borrowers: check details here

President Joe Biden on Wednesday announced up to $10,000 in federal student loan debt ( undergraduate debt) cancellation and it can go up to $20,000 for Pell Grant recipients .  The government announced that the loan cancellation will be applicable to those earning less than $125,000  ($250,000 for married couples) . Plus, people who borrowed the loan through federal student loan programs are likely to be eligible for it, but probably not those who have private loans issued by banks or schools. As per federal data, about 43 million Americans have federal student debt, and a third of those owe less than $10,000. Half owe less than $20,000. The pause on federal student loan repayment will be extended one final time through December 31, 2022. Borrowers should expect to resume payment in January 2023.
